This was taken yesterday morning 27th October looking south back down a path which leads to Halnaker Windmill, Halnaker Nr Chichester, West Sussex. I emailed a copy to BBC South Today the local News Programme. They choose from all the submissions 3 pictures to show on TV before the regional weather forecast. This picture was not only shown on TV but chosen by the South Today team as their new Facebook Page Cover Photo. As a result by the end of the day it had received 4113 Facebook likes. The image reminds many people of Lord of the Rings and Hobbits. Its origins are quite ancient as it is part of a Roman Road called Stane Street which linked Chichester with London
