Hot Summer Harvest Time

This shot was taken this week during the exceptional hot summers weather with temperatures of 29C, 84F. True nothing compared to some countries but exceptional for this area.

This area of a wheatfield is next to a footpath about a mile from home in Pagham. I wanted to capture the wheat looking straight up and for the best viewpoint used my Samyang 8mm fisheye lens. The picture was taken by placing the camera down in the wheat, retreating to avoid being in the picture and then triggering the shutter with a wireless remote. 3 images bracketed for HDR at 2EV.
