Regent Street Bus Trails

Another shot taken during my latest London Trip on 18th December. I worked my way from Oxford Street along Regent Street to Piccadilly Circus taking light trail shots especially of the red London buses. This is a combination of 2 shots. The main one had the Bus Trail on the left. The second one was copied in as a new layer, excluded with a layer mask and then part brought back in with a brush to add in the light trail on the right. It was useful again to get the ghost of somebody walking in the central reservation waiting to cross.

The pictures were taken with a Sony A700 with a Sigma 10-20 wide angle zoom at 10mm. Taken with a tripod. I processed the image in RAW for recovery of highlights. This was followed by Topaz DeNoise to remove noise and then Topaz Clarity for more detail. Just the vignette was used in Topaz Adjust. The picture was given more punch using a clarity effect using unsharp mask with settings of 23 amount and 23 radius
