88 Wood Street Reflections and Stairs

88 Wood Street Reflections and Stairs

This is another shot taken at Open House last month, this time on the Saturday. 88 Wood Street is a skyscraper designed by Richard Rogers who is the same Architect who designed the Lloyds Building. It shares some of the inside out look. It didn’t look a very long queue but as they took groups of about 20 up in the lift to the top it ended up being well over an hour. The shot was taken from the lobby near the lifts.

The picture was taken handheld with a Sony A700 with a Sigma 10-20 mm lens at 10mm. I took 3 pictures for HDR. The sky needed bringing down more in exposure so I adjusted the minus 2EV shot in RAW to create a 4th shot at minus 4EV. Outputted in Photomatix using Fusion Real Estate preset for a more natural look. More detail was brought in using Topaz Clarity and noise reduced using Topaz DeNoise. I used Hue Saturation blues to bring down the blues for the most natural looking sky. Layers and curves for more contrast. I pasted in a selection of clouds taken in another picture outside to remove reflections from taking the picture through glass showing up in the original clouds.
