Bognor Regis Spring Harbingers

Bognor Regis Spring Harbingers

This shot was taken today (Thursday) which was very spring like with a lot of sunshine and temperatures up to 11C or 52F. The location was a small green off the Aldwick Road in Bognor Regis, UK. The crocus there grow randomly in the grass, much better than the regimented rows in some parks. In this small green there were Snowdrops, Crocus and Daffodils blooming

The image is formed from a Stack of 27 images all at slightly different focus and stacked in Photoshop. Full details of the focus stacking technique can be found on a Blog entry from a couple of years ago, see - http://edwinjonesphotography.com/blog/2015/2/february-spring-crocus-bloom

The camera used was a Sony A700 with a Sigma 28-80 zoom with a macro function at 80mm. Taken on a Tripod with a low setting for the legs. Main processing was first Topaz Clarity for more detail and then Topaz Adjust for just the vignette feature.
