Tunnel of Light Crossrail

This was taken on my last day trip to London which included a visit to Canary Wharf. This was my second visit to the new bridge over Adams Plaza but this time at night when it really does look magnificent. It reminds me of a starfighter launch tube from Star Wars. I spent a fair amount of time there taking pictures both of the bridge and the new Canary Wharf Crossrail station the top part of which excluding the platform level is open with restaurants and a roof garden

The picture was taken on a Tripod with a Sony A700 with a Sigma 10-20mm lens at 12 mm. 3 raw images 2EV spacing processed with Photomatix Fusion Natural setting for a natural look. The Plus 2 EV image was copied in with a layer mask to apply only to the sky to lighten the sky. A little Noise was removed with Topaz DeNoise. Topaz Clarity was used to bring in more detail.

More punch was added with a clarity effect using unsharp mask 22 amount and 22 radius.
