On my latest London trip I took a wander around Brick Lane in East London well known for its graffiti and Street Art. Some is technically illegal often on abandoned buildings and some is commissioned by the owners. There is work there by internationally known artists including Banksy. It is one of the areas of London where the Street Art has reached a critical mass which benefits the area by drawing in visitors. This one of a hedgehog is in Redchurch Street west of Brick Lane and close to Shoreditch Station. There are a lot of bikes parked around often by the Street Art

The picture was taken handheld with a Sony A700 with a Sigma 10-20 wide angle zoom at 10 mm. I took 3 shots for HDR. 3 raw images 2EV spacing processed with Photomatix Fusion with Contrast Optimiser for a natural look. Noise was removed with Topaz DeNoise. Topaz Clarity was used to bring in more detail. I then added a little Topaz Glow for a more surreal look. I used the Fur and Feathers Preset but brought down the effect by using the Soft Light Blend Mode in the program.
