London Bridge Traffic Trails

This viewpoint is on London Bridge facing towards the Shard and looking towards the South Bank. It may not look it but I was quite safe on the central reservation. Some motorists stuck in the occasional traffic jam asked me what I was photographing.

The picture is made up of 4 images layered in Photoshop using layer blend modes. lighten blend mode and was used in the first 3 images and Difference Blend mode on the 4th for a darker sky. There was also some use of layer masks. Each image was about 3 seconds. F19 was used to get the star effects on the lights.

The pictures were taken with a Sony A700 with a Sigma 10-20 wide angle zoom at 10mm. Taken with a tripod in RAW. The image were first processed in Camera Raw with recovery of highlights and clarity.
I used Topaz DeNoise.

Some flare was tidied up with the healing brush in Photoshop
