Really an ideal combination for me a staircase with a sculpture made of bicycle frames running up the middle. A new staircase for me this one is at the Design Museum on Shad Thames near Tower Bridge. It will not be accessible for long as the Design Museum moves to another building on the 30th June. They have already closed down the floors above the first so this was as high as I could get. On the first floor they have an exhibition running to the end of the month called Revolution displaying a wide variety of weird and wonderful bicycles, hence the sculpture.

The shot was taken with a Sony A700 with a Sigma 10-20mm lens at 10 mm. 3 raw images 2EV spacing were taken. The image was processed first in RAW. Topaz DeNoise and Clarity were also used. There was very little colour in the original image so I decided a high key mono would be ideal. I used Topaz BW Effects for the conversion. More punch was added with a clarity effect using Unsharp Mask at settings of 44 amount and 44 radius.
