Queens Head Passage New to Old

With a service today at St Pauls celebrating the Queens 90 birthday this seems an appropriate picture to post. The name of the passageway is also apt. I took this shot on my last day trip to London.

The picture was taken handheld with a Sony A700 with a Sigma 10-20mm lens at 10 mm. 3 raw images 2EV spacing processed with Photomatix detail enhancer. It is one of those shots where only HDR can work to get detail in both the shadows of the passage and in the sky and on St Pauls. More detail was brought in using Topaz Clarity and noise reduced using Topaz DeNoise. More punch was added with a clarity effect using unsharp mask 40 amount and 40 radius
