Lines Curves and Reflections Kings Place

This is the Atrium of Kings Place at York Way Nr Kings Cross Station. As well as being a great architectural location it is free to enter anytime with a public area with a cafe on the ground floor. The lower floors are a music venue with the upper floors being Offices. The building was completed in 2008.

The picture was taken handheld with a Sony A700 with a Sigma 10-20 mm lens at 10mm. 3 raw images 2EV spacing for HDR. Outputted in Photomatix using Fusion Real Estate for a natural look. Noise was reduced using Nik Define. More detail was brought in using Topaz Clarity. A vignette was added. The original image was very colourful but I wanted to focus on the shapes so converted to mono using Topaz B&W Effects
